Tutorial1

It was first my tutorial today and I was nervous to meet my tutor Catoriona.
I wrote down what to talk but the note didn't work...I often think that communication
is always flowing, even I prepare topics it would often be useless.

In the tutorial, I showed portfolio which I made when I was in Tokyo.
'EDINBURGH' and 'TOKYO' both cities are significant place for me. Edinburgh, where I used to live a little.  Tokyo, where I spent most of time since I grew up. I took pictures of the both cities and compared that where I look at when I am in each cities. Since I had experience living in other place except Japan, I found how environment is important for creativity, and this experience made my point of view wider.
I still remember the first visiting Edinburgh, when I got into the Waverly station from London, I was so impressed the beauty of Edinburg and it gave me gooseflesh.
When I am in Tokyo, I can't stop human watching especially in train. There are a lot of human stories by people of all ages. I often got some issues to think about  through other's conversation in a train.
It is very tiring city because of so many people, sounds, and choices but these things also motivate me to get new idea.

I explained about that to my tutor and I could not do well but I appreciate that she tries to understand what I say. She gave me some tic tac because I looked nervous....now I am addicted to it.

CO2

ASK YOUR FAMILY TO DESCRIBE WHAT YOU DO

It was a first time to take part in co2 project.
I was wondering how it goes and I was not sure what I done was right or not.
I sent e-mail to my family to ask about the question, my mother said 'you must be struggling' my answer would be 'Yes'
My MFA student life has just started.
When I came in the co2 space, I was struck dumb with astonishment
as there were interesting answers which is not prepossessed with an idea.In this project, I realized how my creativity has been blocked since I stated work in Japanese society. In the co2 space, there were so many interesting answers and  students wrote whatever they want, some answers were just simple message and practical which was interesting.
In the project, I felt how my idea is not flexible and I guess I took it too serious. 'fleecy' the word came across to my mind.

I think I need to have more flexible idea to study here...
