C02 project-2

We discussed about  'the waves' today. When it comes to wave, sea or water  come across  my mind  and feeling or emotion. When Rima talks about electric waves I was thinking how to express art in scientific way.  Since I started studying at college I often think about art and science. I have hardly associated art  with science (or not to try do it because I didn't like science as a child..) but all subjects are linked and it depends on how to look.
 Although  I haven't had any collaborate work before, it would be very interesting. I really respect their imagination and creativity. 

Group tutorial1

A new group tutorial in the second semester started from today.
Our discussion started off with me. My members were all new people
so I had a presentation from the beginning of the concept.
Also I prepared some questions about my project and got good feedback from them. I have not had clear idea to show my works to others.To upload on the Internet is available but Susanne suggested 
to show all of images on the wall because it would lead strong impact to audience. I agree with that comment and I prefer to print images on photo paper so to I thought that I should use both website and paper vehicle. 


Then I talked about one of my idea for the project.It is that making date on the images(like postcard) and give it to people pass the meadows everyday. It's just idea so I'll see how it goes but if it goes well, that'd be interesting.

C02 project-1

In the previous semester, I tried to participate C02 space project and see how everyone creates project space. Every time I go, the space looks different and let me think about 'SPACE'. Even the space is the same,if there is someone's intention, it would be different. It goes without saying that it is obvious but that makes
me think.


I am not very good at describing my works or thought in front of people but finally it's time to do project space in this semester!
Hopefully I can enjoy it with other two photograph students.


We had first meeting today and and we discussed about 'the waves' because we are going to take up novel of Virginia Woolf.
It is said that "the waves" is one of the most complicated content 
in her novels but I guess it would be great to make imagination wider.

First day of the second semester

I was thinking about  how the next semester would start and how I would feel at the first day?

That made me nervous again....

And today was first day of the second semester. I have been worrying about my tutor because I had hard that she has been not well. Unfortunately she could not come to college so I had feedback tutorial with Neil but it was good tutorial because I had not talked with him before. I have been very nervous about this since the first semester was very hard to adapt to life in a new college so I could not manage time very well for my portfolio.

Fortunately the feedback was good and I got good direction to improve my practice. I left my small idea books on the desk and it would not be very interesting or not worth judging my assignment. But during my tutorial, he often mentioned about the books and it was very embarrassing thing (I didn't expect they read the books which  look scruffy!)  Anyway to get over or show embarrassment also one of my everyday project.(I decided to think of it.) I wish my everyday would be something nicer and more productive, but in reality, it would not be easy...

Through this feedback I realized that I need to research about the everyday project more and proper portfolio which would be my assignment.

I will keep this project and make it more perfect form in the second semester but I need to do something different project as well. I guess this semester would be tough period but I'll believe I can manage.
